I am 25 years old and I am an athletic trainer. I grew up in the San Luis Obispo area until I graduated high school. After receiving my diploma from Arroyo Grande High School I began running cross country on scholarship for Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona. During my time at Prescott, I fell in love with sports medicine, athletic trainer and the entire kinesiology family. I then pursued my career in Athletic Trainer from California State University Fresno where I learned the hard, easy, good and bad of what it means to be a good athletic trainer. I knew it would take patients, time, dedication and a true passion. After receiving my bachelors of science in Athletic Training, I took an internship at Ohlone College. Following the internship was a position as a PT aide and bootcamp instructor at two local businesses in the San Jose area. Despite the amazing opportunity and experience from these jobs, I was offered a position with San Luis Sports Therapy as the San Luis Obispo High School athletic trainer. In April, I married in Yosemite to a pilot. He and I have been together for 9 years. We look forward to what the future brings for both of our careers and our lives.
